Kannondaki Waterfall trekking
Trek deep into the forest along streams in search of hidden waterfalls in Hida-Osaka.
We can call this tour the classical and original waterfall tour that Hida-Osaka can be proud of. This tour includes continuous river wading, and scramble walk in the wildeness which requires some experience of moutain trekking.
Riding on a train south from Hida-Takayama for 30 minutes, or north from Gero Hot Spring for 30 minutes. Hida-Osaka spreads at the foot of Mt. Ontake of 3,067m / 10,000ft. The river water of Hida-Osaka is very clear due to the huge amount of spring water and deep forests of the mountain. This is truly the off the beaten path where you can stay away from the crowds of tourists and soak yourself in the pure nature in Japan.

<Itinerary>
- Meet us at Hida-Osaka waterfall trekking office at 9:00 AM.
- Finish the sing-up, get instructions and wear wading shoes
- Get in the guide's car and leave for the river. (Approximately 30 minutes.)
- Enjoy the river walk and waterfalls
- Head back to the trekking office at 2:30 PM.
- Change clothes and the whole program is over.

<What to bring>
- Wear a long sleeve shirt and long pants to protect your skin from direct contact with plants and rocks
- Changing clothes if you'd like to wet yourself
- Towels
- Your lunch, drink, and snacks
- Health insurance card or equivalent information (Not necessary to submit)

★Lunch is NOT included.
Optional lunch (bread and soup set) prepared by a local bakery is available with an additional cost JPY 1100 per person at the time of booking. Otherwise, please bring your own lunch.
