Waterfall visit hiking in the forest on the lava plateau
This hiking tour takes place in the forest on the lava plateau which is made of lava flow during the eruption of Mt. Ontake 54,000 years ago. The forest is filled with stories and beautiful nature of Hida-Osaka. On this tour, you will not only visit 3 waterfalls, but also enjoy an open-air tea ceremony in the forest. It's also the best choice to enjoy forest bathing (shinrin-yoku).

On this 5-hour tour, the guide will take you to the wonderous forest on the lava plateau and take you to three different waterfalls of Mitsudaki, Akaganetoyo, and Karatanidaki. Please enjoy the nature of Hida-Osaka which changes time to time throughout the year.

<What to bring and wear>
Please wear suitable clothing for walking.
Long sleeves, long pants and tennis shoes (sneakers) are recommended.
<Weather announcement>
This tour could be carried out under light rain. But it is possible that the tour is canceled due to bad weather conditions.
If the weather forecast is not favorable, 216 WORKS will contact participants after 4:00 PM on the day before the tour date in order to notice the cancellation of the tour due to the bad weather forecast.
<Cancellation>
- No cancelation fee is applied until 2 days before the tour date.
- 50 % of the tour price will be charged to participants who cancel their tour between 0:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the day before the tour date.
- The full fee will be charged to participants who cancel their tour after 5:00 PM on the day before the tour date.
<Additional information>
★The tour is conducted by an English speaking guide.
★Lunch is not included. Optional lunch prepared by a local shop is available with additional cost upon request at the time of booking. Otherwise, please bring your own lunch.
